HENRY G. FERRO
Founding Partner
HENRY G. FERRO is a graduate of the University of Miami, University of Dayton School of Law and the Florida Judicial College.
Ferro became a lawyer in 1983 and was elected as circuit judge in 1988 (youngest in the history of the state of Florida).
As a circuit judge he presided over appellate, civil, criminal and juvenile cases. During his tenure he presided over in excess of ten thousand cases. His most famous ruling was in the case of Children v. Chiles, 589 So.2d 260 (1991) which was affirmed by the Supreme Court of Florida (on a vote of 8-1).
In 1993, Ferro resigned from the Court and became the Republican Nominee for Attorney General. After the election, Ferro returned to the practice of Law with Bruce Lehr in Miami, Florida.
In 1997, Ferro and his family moved to Ocala, Florida; and in 2001, joined with Michael J. Gourley to form Ferro & Gourley, P.A.
Since moving to Ocala, Florida, Ferro has represented people and businesses in all types of cases requiring the experience and tenacity of an attorney and counselor.
